    I'll make this quick

The book I have, Cubase SX/SL3 power, by Robert Guerin, says SL3 comes with the "UV22 dither plug-in," which is apparently located in the 'other VST effects' submenu.

I can't find it, granted I'm not an experienced user.

Anyone out there found it? if so what's the map to get there?

    Thanks

hey, when you are looking at your plugins directory, just look in the folder labeled "other", and you'll see the UV22 plug. In your master plugins window, use the post-gain insert for the UV22.

    Thanks for the reply Eric,

    However, this is really strange.

When I check out the 'other' category in my effects, all there is is the 'bitcrusher,' 'vocoder' and the 'chopper'

In the Devices menu there is the VST information file, that lists every effect on the machine. I have looked about 50 times and the UV22 is not on the list, even though the owner's manual says it's there.

Could it be that it did not get installed somehow when the program was installed? That seems fairly unlikely.

Hmm. I shall call the music store tomorrow.

    Thanks
    Keith

Hmmm...that is strange. You're looking in all the right places.

Well, hopefully you can get that worked out with steinberg. Best of luck to you with that.
