Im looking to start recording and one of the components will definately need is an External Hard disc to store the music. Please any suggestions. Ideally one with UBS and firewire, not sure if that exists. One that I can keep for a good few years even if I upgrade my computer. Any suggestions appreciated. Cheers Michel

Have you been using this for a long time?
I never trust a portable hard drive if it does'nt have a fan.

    does it get very warm?

They are excellent. The heatsink at the bottom works just fine.

Thanks for the info. I was just going to ask about the noise factor. A fanless solution seems ideal. How much do these 2 cost?

-HardBox One Push(FHD-353UK) portable Hard Disk Drive(How many GB do you have, I wont ever need 700.)

    -G-DRIVE Cheers Michel
