Firebox/Firepod Latency

Discussion in 'Recording' started by PinguinoGrande, Sep 25, 2005.

  1. Does anyone know if I should experience latency when recording over previously recorded tracks using a firebox/firepod?

I have heard a lot of talk regarding this and I was wondering if
    1)This is true?
2)If it is true, how to get around this problem.

    Thanks,

According to specs, you shouldn't have latency when using the Firepod unit. There is a mix control you can use.

With FireBox, I don't know... they don't talk about latency at all

So you're planning to buy one of these units? Please give me your feedback after you finally try it.

  3. I definately will when I purchase one, although I was trying to not purchase it if it had those issues.
