Front Man vibe?

Just recently I have noticed that a lot of club owners, managers and other people in the industry seem to be able to pick me out from the rest of the band. "You must be the front man". I do everything the other Guys do, dress the same way, act the same and still they always seem to pick me out. The other guys think that I am trying to take on a leadership role because of this but nothing could be further from the truth. Is there some sort of vibe that we "singers" give off or is it just that we have a Mic?

:) Maybe the industry people feel more comfortable around you. Maybe there is something about the way you present yourself. Do you feel you can take on a leadership role? If so, and you are good at it, maybe the members should turn it over to you. For the good of all.

I know some retired industry execs. They are mild, relaxed, confident individuals. If I didn't know their history, I would have never guessed they were heavy hitters in the music business.

This could be an untapped quality of yours. Develop it.

This may be a great advantage from a promotions and public relations point of view but I honestly think it is starting to bother the rest of the band. Do you think I should just come out and say something to the Guys and see what the responses are or should I let it slide for a while? I know I can handle the responsability of leadership to a point but I don't want any animosity to develop as a result of it. These Guys are my friends but putting on a business face with them may cause resentment. Should it be  my problem or theirs?
