G5 2.0 Dual or 2.0 Dual core ?

    Also, G5 2.5 dual or 2.3 dual core? It seems dual core G5s have one processor and dual G5s have 2. What would be the performance difference between these?

    as far as i can think the dual core is faster as the communication between processors is internally in the chip...

    but i'm not sure.... but anyway it won't matter much...

    btw dual core IS two processors....

    Recent bechmarks indicate that at dual cores are as fast or faster than the previous dual cpu at most tasks.

    Dual core is 2 processors? I don't think so. Only the Quad has 2 dual core processors.

    1 dualcore = two seperate processors.... just put on the same piece of silicon

    2 dualcore = four processors
