Getting great results with SP C1 and KM85 combo for acoustic

Not your typical chunky acoustic sound, this is a full-bodied dreadnought with balls. This is a stereo field with C1 on the treble end and KM85 on the bass end basically pointing at the bridge.

I think the combo sounds very good, nice warm bass and relatively smooth highs. I'd like to smooth the highs a bit. BUt what I'm looking for here is to bring out the antural sound of the guitar close-miked.

No EQ or anything here this is just raw straight to tape. Hard panned left and right.

    It's 5MB in wav form.

I'd be interested to know what MIC could offer the same deep warm bass as the C1 but smooth out the high end a bit, other than the U47, what else could do this?

    Look into the AEA R84.
A very sweet ribbon mic with great clarity.

I have a couple of them and difg them on acousit form time to time.
