I am looking for a set of headphones. I need to use them for tracking - recording singing while listening to the playback over the phones. They need to have no leakage (as far as that's possible), but not at the expense of squeezing my brains out in the middle. Preferably lightweight, from materials that do not induce sweating. I may be having longer sessions than I would like to think.

The sound quality needs not be amazing, and this is certainly an item on which I rather spend less money.

    I would appreciate some suggestions.

dito, sennys hd280 for hundred bucks, super comfy - lightweight, superb sound, german built quality, very good isolation.

i can wear and listen with them for many, many hours without earfatening or headache from wearing...

said that i quiet like AKGs 240s / 271s as well...

SONY MDR's are hard to beat, at just under $200

Help yourself and use the search engine. Headphones have been discussed a few hundred times already...

The search engine works fine sometimes, and then other times...well...

It works more times than it doesn't, and the main point is to use it rather than have the same exact question be asked a billion times. If the search engine is not working, let the admin or mods know about it. Learn to help yourself instead of the lazy and easy way.
