Help Newbie Recording?

    Well i want to record My flows wit a background. What programs do i need and equipment that is cheap? like waht kid of mic what kind of sound card?
    greatly appreciate it?

    Creative Soundblaster PCI card is only about $20.

    well it depends on your budget.

    If you can spend around $250 yu can consider an EMU 0404 or an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 ($100)
    Then you could look at one of the cheap Beringher mic pres for about $50

    And then checkout maybe one of the cheap MXL condensers or even a Shure SM57. ($70 - $90)

    Just over 200 bucks.

    If you wantreally cheap then get the soundblaster, with the said mic pre and a cheap condenser ($50)

    could u tell me a frew cheap condesners and cheap mics dat are good? cause i looked for it but there were all above 100 dollars.

    for that price condesadors maybe only the mxl's

    as for cool edit pro it's very simple! you have multitrack and only one track! if you want to record something record and then mess around with it! try everything! this way you'll learn!
