I just got an EMU 0404 and...

    I need patchmix dsp help (because I think that's where I have to fix the problem from), everytime music comes in, I hear alot of static and I seriously dont know what to do anymore, what do I have to set? is there a particular setting I must use/do/have? someone please help a fellow canadian out (lol). also, I already tried setting it back to default but everytime my computer detects the card, it stars being static aigain...so what can I do?

    PatchMix or the E-MU 0404 card have nothing to do with any static if set up correctly. What you call static could likely be signal overload distortion. Or the latency setting withing your recording program. You leave out every criticle peice of information that it would take to help you. Call the cutomer service install support at 1-405-743-0464 9:00AM - 7:00PM CT.
