Are you using this for "live sound"? Doesn't look like it to me. There is a better place to post your questions-"Budget Recording"....
What you are asking about : a mixer with a bunch of inputs, built-in effects, FireWire connectivity, etc. All this in one mixer, the mixers with all these "bells and whistles" are cheap throw-away junk. They are not
built with quality in mind, have next to zero headroom, and the mic preamps are a joke. Skip this "quality built-in effects" mindset and look at the Mackie Onyx line if you want FireWire. The others are toys. Maybe that's all you have available in your homeland, but look harder and do your homework.

You aked for opinions, you got one. Take it or leave it. For starters, you posted your question in the "Live Sound" forum, but gave absolutely no indication of your using the mixer in that application.

Secondly, the products you listed are designed for "home recording" on a budget. You would be well-advised to go to that
portion of this site to get a better insight as to what others in
your situation have found that works for them. As far as reading
anything else into what I said, that's your problem. Grow up.

sorry, i was joking (the sy48 is way out of your budget: its in the hundreds of thousands $$$) but i think moonbaby is right here. you want to get a smaller firewire mixer and record through that. and use plugins for effects, which will give you better results. how many channels do you want to be able to record at one time? depending on that, a mixer might not be what you want, maybe a firewire interface for your computer could be better suited.
