FYI, he posted the same thing at Home Recording BBS and when someone posted samples of his work he flipped out and said it wasn't good enough for him to mix.

Yeah i was gonna chime in, this guy is kind of an ass. He basically wants you to send him a great mix so he can tweak it. I'd be carefull sending anything you do to people like this, I can see something happening like he takes your song mixes it puts it on his website as a song he "produced/recorded". Plus he was really rude to the poor guy that sent him his mix.

Can you post a link to the other post that he got upset about?

It all begins with tracking doods! If you don't know how to track, imo you have no business mixing.

Anyone who offers to work for free is someone to look at twice.

You really do get what you pay for.

    Nothing is free.

Everything has a cost, one way or another.

It doesn't appear that homerecording.com forums go back any further than like 3 weeks and I'm sure it was just a little older than that. He wasn't real ignorant but I'm pretty sure he posted in the newb section and when a newb gave him a song he basically came write back and was like man i can't really work with that the levels are all whack. But he was saying he would "mix" the song not "master" it.
