Juno-G vrs. Korg TR-61... Better for Performance?

Discussion in 'Recording' started by LeroyGodspeed, Jan 25, 2007.

  1. Hey,

i was wondering if anyone had some experience or insite into which is a better keyboard... the Roland Juno-G or Korg TR-61.

I will be using it largely for performance... and the 61 key size is perfect. I use a good variety of organic sounds as well as synth sounds. I dont really need alot of bells and whistles (like recording songs and sequencing on board)... That stuff will just take up space, weight and bog down the ease of use live...

i've pretty much been looking at these two... and besides the Yamaha MO-6... they are pretty much the only 'stripped down' synth keyboards.

anyone have any thoughts you could offer me?

    thanks!
