Does anyone know of a mac based software that will be able to tell me the ISRC codes that are on a CD? If not mac, how about PC?

Are there any PC programs that will read the ISRC codes off of a disc that don't require any hardware?

MAC based:Sonic Solutions has a load back function that will read ISRC info.
PC based: Pyramix will. I imagine Sadie, Audio Cube must be able to.

I often use this function to "load back" material. This is helpful when putting a compilation together.

I have this problem too... I have had a cd mastered and was told the ISRC have been put on but it would be nice to be able to check...

Anyone have anymore info on this 'sonic load back' function? Is this part of a certain software? Or is there another way? I just want to check that the code have been put on properly before I send the cd off for copying... I'm on a mac also...

Your basic Roxio Toast will easily read the ISRC, UPC, and CD-Text from an audio disc as well. It's under "Disc Info" in one of the drop down menus.

You can also do it from the command line (terminal) in OS X:

    user% drutil subchannel

will scan the CD for ISRC info and print it out on the screen. Note that you need a CD burner that supports ISRC codes or it will return gibberish.
