Mackie & Soundcraft

    could you please help me compare these analog mixer. which one is better than which one in your oppinion?

    Mackie 1642VLZ & Soundcarft M Series

    Soundcraft all the way..... no brainer
    "Ghost" preamps
    Nice British EQ
    S/Pdif output (even if it's only 16/44.1)
    better build all round


    Mackies really are only just above Behringer.

    soundcraft is miles above...mackie isn't even close.

    How about the A&H Mixwizard series?

    I'd like to see opinons also, but also on the sturdiness and frequency of repair. These are two big points for me. I don't like stuff that breaks or constantly requires service.

    A & H and sound craft are both considerably better than Mackie.
