Can anyone please tell me how to use the metronome with Cakewalk 4 P.E.? I see where the settings are for it, but I have no metronome sound durning recording and playback, on my Tascam FW-1884 the Midi out light blinks with metronome tempo, but still nothing. Please help?

Also, I'd like to hear what others use as a metronome/click track for their DAWs..is there a cheap/free plug in to make decent and reliable clicks?

Thanks in advance for your help!

You mean Sonar 4, right? As a workaround, Sonar also offers an audio click. You can use that for now and keep fiddling with the midi one until you get it.

On the metronome tab, "use audio metronome" is right above "use midi note".
