midi to audio

    hey guys, been messing around with alot of midi lately... and Im trying to figure out how to bounce my midi tracks into audio file...Im assuming create an audio file, set the input to the output of my midi track?
    anyways, just checking if im on the right path here.

    Software? Second question: have you consulted the manual?

    yes, and yes... ive tried to bounce to tracks option, or export to audio, however, i always get a dialog box saying: there is no audio data to convert.

    Open your midi in Itunes, right click the song or something and go to "convert" then you can convert to aiff, wav, or mp3 andp ut it on your mp3 player

    problem solved enjoy!

    Actually I meant, what software? It does make a difference. In many DAWs you can render to a new track. Without exporting necessarily.
