Hi! I´m just finishing the mix of a song and it´s the first time I´m doing it with a console such as the one in Cakewalk 8. that´s in fact the one I´m using. I´ve been told that what I have to do is to work all effects and volumes with the console, record that, and when it´s done, to save all that to a mixdown. Cakewalk saves all that to TWO tracks (one for left and one for right). Will I be able to export those two tracks together to a single normally-panned wav file? Does Sonar work in the same way about that?

Cakewalk will export a single stereo file, as well as a set of two files pertaining to the left and right channels of a stereo file. These two options can be selected between in the window that pops up after you select 'Export audio...' from the file menu.
