Any suggestions as to the best way to Mix Acoustic Guitar-Bongo(1 bongo) and a single vocal track.
    Panning etc.......
    Thanks,

    My unprofessional approach:

    1) Single bongo and single vox track down the middle. Stereo guitar track panned wide. Keep the bongo (volume) back with a little verb.

    2) Single vox down the middle. Stereo guitar panned 10-2. Stereo bongo panned wide. Keep the bongo back with a little verb

You know what I like - the old sixties style of stereo mixing where they were obviously taking tracks optimized for mono and creating a stereo mix as an afterthought - a la "Meet the Beatles"

They probably would have put the guitar full right, the vocal in the middle and the bongos on the left.

I would probably record the bongoes in stereo, and seperate the big and small drums L & R.

Put the Guitar half-left, Vocal half-right.
