I'm new with recording and mixing and stuff. I have a short (40 second) song that I did my best on, but I'm wondering if you guys have any helpful mixing criticism for me.

Thanks in advance - the link is http://mayfly-music.com/TangerineRemix.mp3

I was only listening through the computer speakers

    is this in stereo ?
    if it is
you could have pushed things left and right a little more

    it's ok
a more modern feel might be to compress and squash a little more on the individual parts or as subgroups ... vocals group guitar group

    I like very light reverbs
but many clients would have asked me for more reverb than you had

reverb can lift when the final compress and limiting are done

much of this stuff is personal choice and provided there are no genuine mistakes or errors .... nothing is right or wrong

    nice stuff

Thanks so much! I'm going to try widening it out some more.

I'm gonna put a little more compression too.

    Anything else?
