Hey guys, Has anyone here ever used the MOTU 24 I/0. I was told you can recording 24 simlutaneous tracks straight to a PC. But can a descent PC handle that. It's host based. I dont know. I was thinking rather than that go with an Alesis HD24 which I've had some great experience with. Suggestions? Advice? Thanks, Jeremy

Yes, any well built PC can handle 24 tracks at once with ease.

I built the machine in which was used to transfer the original tracks from the Beach Boys tapes at 24/96Khz onto an IDE drive and it worked like a charm!

So, if you were using 24/48 it would work even better!!!
