I've converted some of my Digital performer mixes to mp3 in itunes and I want to post them to a web site- the problem is that I haven't been able to locate the physical mp3 files in my hard drive- I know that itunes keeps them somewhere- any one knows where the itunes folder is kept in the mac? Sounds like a stupid question and probably is but I've been looking....

    You've got two choices.

One is to use sherlock, and search on the name of the file. Or you could just search on .mp3, but that'll turn up all the mp3's you have.

Another is to go into the iTunes preferences and have a look at the library location. (I think, I'm not in front of a mac right now)

If using any version of OS X look in your home folder in the Music folder. There you will see the iTunes Music Library file and its iTunes folder. Dig in there for the MP3 you need.....
