    Hi all,
I'm wondering if this would be a good vocal mic. Does it resemble the U47 in any respect? I know there are major changes in the electronics and the capsule is wired up differently. I assume that, for the price, it's not going to be too similar to to its venerable predecessor -or is it a great bargain? I really like the M-149 a lot. How does this compare, apart from being a single pattern mic.

    Thanks

there's also some audio demos there..

can't imagine it being anything else than a superdupersweet mic..

Thanks for the reply. I've heard the Neumann demo, but I don't really like the guitar sound. I never record the acoustic guitar anyhow. Have you heard the M149 demo? That sounds wonderful! I'd like to hear the M147 on the same sources.

I think I'm slowly being converted to Neumann, but the mics I like are really very expensive. :(

    Thanks
    John
