    Hi folks

Just registered on the forum. I'm from the caribbean, and only recently entered the world of recording and composing. I do look foward to discussions here.

I am a complete novice, and can only learn from you guys.

My first question is, I just completed a piece using Anvil Studio. But when I used a MIDI converter, there were some very obvious differences to the original. Can someone please advise me on the best way to convert A midi file to MP3 without changing the sound of the original MIDI file?

    thanks

    What where the differences?
You could record the midifile in your program and convert if to mp3 afterwards.

Are you sure that it wasn't the mp3 format that caused this change in the sound?

some notes were shortened, faster tempo, rythm breaks that was not in the original composition etc.
