    Hi all,

I'd like to upgrade my usb soundcard from a M-Audio Audiophile USB to something that allows me record more tracks at once.

I like that my audiophile doesn't have built-in preamps as I use external preamps, but I can't see anything out there without preamps.

I can only record two tracks at once right now, but I'd like to be able to record three or four at once.

    Any advice?

    Thanks....

Quite a few devices are very good for your purpose.
From own experience I can recommend the RME stuff.
Any of my 6 pieces of RME gear are still working flawless, even after 12 years.
Drivers are rock-solid and the sound is great.
Not too cheap, but a lot of bang for the buck and very versatile.
If portability is an issue, look at Multiface or BabyFace...

Double plus on the RME gear. Always solid, always quality, and the best customer service in the business. You won't regret the expense!
