Check this out! 4 Neve /Focusrite pres for $2K! That's $500 per channel. That is hard to beat!

I received this in my E Mail this A.M. I have edited it a bit so that it is not full of advertizing hyperbole.

Now Shipping: Focusrite ISA 428 Pre Pack
The Focusrite ISA 428 Pre Pack lists for $1,995, and the optional 8-channel, 192 kHz ADC card for $695.

Featuring four classic, Rupert Neve-designed, transformer-based pre amps with selectable impedance plus eight line inputs and four direct instrument inputs. The ISA 428's input stage allows you to switch between four input impedance settings. The original ISA 110 setting is supplemented by three further impedance settings to match the pre amp with any microphone and maximize level, or utilize different settings creatively to shape the sound of the microphone being used. Should the need arise to place extra processing insert points are also featured on every channel.

The pre amp's topology include superb common-mode rejection, an excellent overload margin and, with its shared gain structure (20 dB from the hand-wound transformer and up to 40 dB from the amplifier), an extremely low noise floor and super-wide bandwidth (10 Hz to
200 kHz). Soft Limiter opto circuit protects the ADC, entirely preventing any "digital overs" while minimizing the undesirable distortion that standard limiter circuits often generate.

    Features include:

Four classic Rupert Neve-designed transformer-based preamps
Eight analog balanced line inputs, four analog balanced line outputs
Selectable impedance for unparalleled mic matching or extended mic creativity — Includes the classic ISA 110 setting
    Multiple Front Panel Instrument DI
Analog insert points on every channel Rupert Neve-designed High Pass Filters on every channel.
New moving coil peak meters and full digital metering (dBfs)

I ordered one yesterday,Sweetwater has them. Haven't found the A/D card yet though.

Who has used the ISA 110 preamps?
    What do they sound like?

I do live drums to ProTools, should be fun checking this one out. :)
