possible phase issues

  1. not to sound like a n00b d00d but do you guys think micing up 2-4 mics on a cab will present phase problems? one mic per driver

    Maybe, maybe not. You have to use the 3:1 rule. If the mics are 1" away from the cone, then they must be 3" apart from one another.

    If you have four drastically different mics you can get away with it likely for a cool sound. Why not have the player track the same part four times, with four mics, pan the parts out, and have a huge guitar sound. Just thinkin'.
