I just converted my studio to digital ... and I am looking for advice on my pre-amp setup. I have 2 focusrite octepre's, I am being told that I should just use them and that I basically have no need for me AMEK 9098 and my Focusrite Voicebox MKII.

I am assuming that is correct, just wanted to get your opinion prior to putting them on eBay.

    Thanks All !

That's right ... just send those 9098's to meeeeeee!
You can keep the Octopres and the Voicebox!

should I use the 9098 in front of the Octopre's?

    I would .... I was being facitious / sarcastic.

The 9098's are far better pres than either of the other two you mentioned.

Thanks Kurt ... I love the AMEK.
I assume it's cool to just out of the AMEK into the octopre right?
Or would you recommend just going out of the AMEK into the analog in of the 2408?

    Thanks Again!
