hi i was thinking about getting some preamps.

at first i thought, maybe i should buy neve's, and then i changed my mind and thought that i should buy some vintage api 312's. but after careful consideration, i considered buying the neve clones by xyz manufacturer. if i don't get those i was thinking about getting the api clones by another manufacturer.

    my budget is ~$200

what do you guys think, is this a good decision.

    thank you.

    :)

I don't think you would be upset with either one but I don't think your going to find one for $200. Your gonna be lookin at about a grand for a single channel if your buying new maybe a little less.

    you know.....
the people you're jiving on, wont even understand what the hell you're driving at.

Philosophically speaking, is this then funny?
Is this the audio equivalent of the tree falling in the woods?

    Curious. :-?

i got a laugh out of it. but the "xyz manufacturer" is the only thing that gave it away for me.
