    Hi all,

I'm trying to put together some research for my Thesis and i've compiled a short survey here:

    [deleted]

I would really appreciate it if you could take time out to fill it out for me!

My thesis is based around the technical sustainability of modern recording studios. This survey is really just an ice-breaker before I narrow down my paths of research. If you could fill it out I'd be very thankful.

    All the best!

Um... Done. But I really don't think that was a comprehensive survey for any kind of thesis? The questions you are asking were really not relevant. It would tell me, you're not ready to graduate LOL.

How about, what is the financial feasibility of having a studio with enough cubic footage for low frequencies to properly propagate and bloom? What might be the minimum type of equipment you could use to deliver a professional product with? Is the RT 60 of the room an important factor for good quality acoustics? Does one need expensive microphones for professional recordings? Does it have to be high-end equipment to deliver a professional recording?

What was your major? Occupational therapy? Doesn't sound like it was audio?

how about what is the average income of the expected client base the studio is be likely to be working with?

Careful, there, Remy... your biases are showing.

LOL... your questions, phrased the way you wrote them, are pretty slanted.

My guess would be, based on the way you phrased them... Yes, ( unless you own a Bricasti) No, and No.

    LOL

I'm not psychic, but I can tell a slant when I see one. ;)
