Redoing an old song - please read!

  1. Hello everyone,

I was wondering if you could head over to http://www.myspace.com/jasondanielmoss and check out the song "Face My Fears" (This is an artist MySpace - so you don't have to be a member of MySpace to listen).

I'm a 14 year-old singer/songwriter/producer, and I'm working on redoing some old songs that I've recorded, so I can actually make a demo.

It'd be great if you could tell me what you think of the version of Face My Fears that I have up right now (the "old" version) - and what improvements I can make on the new recording.

Gear List (What I used for recording the OLD stuff):
    MXL 990 microphone
    Behringer mixer/pre's
    EMU 0404 PCI card
Dell Computer Monitors (I know, haha)
    Nuendo, Waves bundle, etc...

NEW List (What I have now, and what I'll be using for the "New" recording):
    Rode K2 Tube Condenser
    AT C1000S (2) Condenser
    Mackie mixer
    DBX 266xl Compressor
    Presonus Firepod
    Event TR8 Monitors
    Cubase, Nuendo, Waves bundle, etc...

    Thanks a lot everyone,
    Jason
