Ok folks, how did you achieve the fastest speed in rendering?

Did you do it by SCSI interface?(ie faster HD)
Ram amount (i/e going from 512M to 2048M?
Prosessor Power 400 celeron VS 1g celeron VS P4 2G processor and above?

How did you speed up you rendering of edits!(?)

What year did you buy your first computer and what year did the difference (and speed on rendering) take place..and what did you do?

My Answer after the 12th post, how I sped it up...(Hint) HD speed and prosessing power....

I started using a Fairlight. No rendering needed.

It's funny because I was thinking about it this morning.
For the moment, I wait...and look at the processing bar ...longly..., until my new Mac G4 come out from the store :)
