    hey people ..
i'm looking for a small practice amp, around 10 W, that brings out sounds close to Slayer, Lamb of God, Trivium, that sort of music.. I have a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge, so only the amp will need to be powerful..
I was thinking something like a peavey rage 158 or so..
i must also mention that i won't be spending more than a max. of $100, and I'll get it off ebay, so nothing too fancy..
    any suggestions anyone ?

    thanx ;)

What do you really expect for that price range? I mean, you are looking at these manufacturers' cheapest models! How choosey can you get when comparing one Chinese-built amp to another? They all are going to use the same basic design and IC chips, and "voice" them for the same basic market. None of them is going to really "sound better" or give "heavier distortion" than the other. They are all "throw-away" amps for playing in the bedroom or tuning up backstage. You want to get picky about tone, you need to spend a LOT more money.
