Discussion in 'Recording' started by Tenacioustommy, Jan 7, 2005.

  1. Please could someone tell me what type of sound card I need to run a multi track recorder on my computer. There are no music shops with computer nohow where I live and I found your forum before I found anything else. Many thanks in advance. Tom

you can go for example with a motu 828 mkII or something like this!
    firewire, pci and so on...
or go with a rme adat card and buy some preamp with adat's out
  3. Thank you for your quick reply. Will this be ok? Will I need some kind of interface that my guitar would plug into? http://www.motu.com/products/motuaudio/PCI324/body.html/en
  4. I found this on e bay. but it is far more than I need. I have some of my own tunes as it were and would just like to build them up into compleet songs (with other instruments) :) Dose any one make a sound card you can plug straight into? Many thanks for your time.............Tom
