I was just curious if anyone could help me out.

I want to sync my Mac iBook to my PC desktop so I can sync Garage Band to Cakewalk Homestudio. I know, I know...primitive software and what not, but is it possible? I would like to run loops from my iBook...especially guitar loops that I plan to manipulate with my Kaoss pad and record it to Cakewalk on my PC. Any help or ridicule would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I know NOTHING about either program but, the theory would be to SYNC GB to Cakewalk via a MTC. In addition, using MMC would also be useful.

Surely, Cakewalk must be able to send both MTC and MMC so, if GB can be set to receive MTC and listen to MMC it should play IN SYNC every time you press PLAY/STOP on Cakewalk.

You would then record the AUDIO from GB into Cakewalk according to whatever AUDIO cards/interfaces you have.
