Just quickly wondering what your top picks for I/O Interfaces are?
Mac. Pro Tools. I know of Digidesigns HD but its a little too pricy.
well if your using protools you can only use digi hardware so, all you have to use is the 002, mbox pro, mbox2, and legacy stuff which is all outdated... your best bet is the 002
P.S you could do protools m-powered but IMHO the m-audio stuff is worse
Apogee makes high quality interfaces for ProTools that meet or exceed the quality of the 192 I/O. The would include the Rosetta 200 or 800, and the AD-16x and DA-16x - http://www.apogeedigital.com
These interfaces can be run with the option of using firewire or ProTools interface card that is supplied by Apogee, and then you insert in the unit to configure it how you want it. We have a Rosetta 800 running as part of our setup with ProTools HD and it works flawlessly!
