    Hi Fletcher et all
I have been hearing some very good things on a number of forums about these Neve design based clones. Have you tested any of them and are they as good as they and their specs say they are? Apparently you can't get them in the UK as there is no distributor as yet. I would be very grateful for your thoughts.

    Thanks
    Simon

  2. Yeah, Fletcher, what's the deal on these - and the 1272 clones? Any good or should I consider Brett Averill's stuff instead?

    I haven't heard the "1073" remake, I can't comment.

The 1272 will work if the gain is applied properly, I've heard some that were done better than others. As for specific brands, i.e. Brent Averill Enterprises v. Vintech...it's not my place to say.

Frankly, I'd pick "C" (none of the above), but that's just me.
