Why logic always sound better from the one bounced?

Discussion in 'Logic' started by keithcamilleri, May 27, 2007.

  1. I use Logic and apogee rosetta 800, everytime I bounce the whole track when finished production, (this will go through a neve preamp usally.). WHY the song played from logic always sound better from the one bounced?

    hope someone can help

Why are you bouncing through the Neve preamp?

Never bounce in any DAW. Play it out of the DAW through the digital I/O to a master recorder. Bouncing changes things 99% of the time from my experience.

Also, you might check Google for dither comparisons between DAWs.

Are you bouncing down to 16bit and dithering?
