Default VST Solo Violin & Strings

    Hello to everyone

I wanted to share with you some demo tracks I made with "Hybrid Strings" Library in Kontakt.
The first one is an attempt to Ethnic/Traditional music, while the second one is an improvisation, still in the Ethnic genre, but more emotional. Both are not very "easy-listening" but it's very expressive music full of emotions so, hopefully, I can pass these feelings to the listener.
The last one is a short theme from one of my favorite films, the Lord of the Rings, originally composed by Howard Shore.

I hope you enjoy, I will really appreciate any comments

Please choose HD for better sound quality.

    Kindest Regards,

    Marios

Welcome. I really love gypsy music. All kinds of gypsy music and although your music seems to be Greek, it reminds me of Gypsy music. As you probably know, they share the same roots. I'm actually quite surprised at how good those samples sound. Very nice playing. I could hear this type of thing in a heavy progressive fusion metal thing. Got my mind working.
Shhhhhh! Be Vewwy, vewwy quiet! I'm hunting pirates. Huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhuh.

    hueseph,

Thank you very much for your comments!
You are right, on the first demo there are some gypsy melodies, during the second half.
Hearing Hybrid Strings in a "heavy progressive fusion metal thing" (as you state) would be really interesting, sounds like a challenge!
Creativity and inspiration is the only limit in music, so everything is possible. I am all for experimentation with different sounds and genres so I really like people that want to make something innovative!

    Best Regards,

    Marios

I would like to share another demo I made last night, hope you enjoy it! It's one of my favourite tracks, "Historia de un Amor", performed with a gypsy timbre and a lot of emotion!
    Any comments are always welcomed
