I would like to be able to edit the Kurzweil K2000
via MIDI on my PC laptop...

Anyone know of a modestly-priced (or free?)
Editor Program that would do the trick?

As far as I can tell Kurzweil does
not offer such an item...

It would be nice to have 'control' of the K2000
in the studio (from the Control Room),
so that the player can just focus on playing
and not have to worry about tweaking an
unfamiliar instrument...

Down with small, dimly-lit LCD screens! :p

Most of the Kurz community seems to endorse Soundiver by e-magic. I have MOTU Unisyn and it is not real great. I am seriously considering soundiver, though. There are some limitations in how Kurz did the sys-ex that force you to change your workflow when using an editor. You can't really just pick up patch 307 (or whatever), edit it and replace it from an editor. Each editor does it a little differently.
