I've been reading a lot of great things about analog summing boxes on the back end of Pro Tools rigs. I'm wandering if anybody out there has any advice about which one to buy. I know of the AMS Neve 8816 summing mixer and the Dangerous 2-bus. If anybody out there has experience with these boxes or any other summing boxes, I would love to hear from you.

read last months issue of EM mag. You may not hear the difference it makes, or it may not matter for the type of material you are recording.
I know nothing about them, but I've read by more than one zealous poster on message boards that anything more than a 2-bus summing box is a waste of cash.
