Ok, I use Logic pro 7 with 2 HD192 interfaces and multiple logic node G5s for processing. I use a Glyph GT050Q for storage via Firewire8. The problem I'm having is that when I save a Logic session, let's say after recording, then reopen the session later for a mix I get a message saying that multiple invalid regions have been changed. Clicking on "ok" I find that there are numorous audio regions either gone or replaced by other audio filed from projects that have nothing to do with this one.

I'm at the end of my rope. I absolutely love logic pro except for this one little snafoo!

Thanks,
Josh :(

hmmm i've only seen that message when opening an old session containing audio that i'd subsequently timestretched and then saved with the same name (not save as). Logic must have noticed it duration had changed and reported the error.... perhaps the overiew was wrong too........... hmmm...... Your thing sounds to me like a file name issue, not entirely sure how this would happen when i think it thru but it could be. I wonder if using Broadcast Wave Files would help as they have a smpte time stamp denoting start timecode that might help logic differentiate between files with the same name but i guess the question is why logic is going to the wrong ones- poor file management on your part maybe? Does this only happen when you move the files since the sessions. I assume you know a work around for this problem yeah? I reckon emptying the audio window and importing the right audio'd do it.

Also, messing with the PAL / NTSC (frame rate) settings might cause region isssues but perhaps not the sort you are experiencing... let us know how you get on and good luck

All the region files are in the adio files folder and everything looks exactly as it should but region files will just totally disappear off the drive. It's really strange. Do I need to change the file name of each audio region individually to prevent this from happening? Does that make any sense? I make sure that all of my sessions are devided up into different folders and sometimes even folders within folders, but it still happens. IE..."audio file 1" from one session will be mysterioiusly replaced by "audio file 1" from another session that will be a completely different artist in a completely different session folder.
