I would not do business with this vendor they sound like bad news. You can buy the md421 for $349 from any reputable dealer.

You do not understand the complication, quite. This is the only local distributor in Delhi, in all we have two in India.

The price difference between the US MRP and Indian MRP for the above stated mic is still a lot less when compared to most other pro audio equipments.

the MD421 has certainly not been discontinued, the website pretty much lists it.

Regardless of what you have available locally you still have mail order options, and regardless of price I wouldn't buy from a dealer that lies. On top of that that 431 is not going to sound anything like the 421. So buying that instead would be any different then pulling a random mic out of a hat. You can do what you want but if I were you I'd get on the phone with a reputable dealer here in the states that will mail it to you.

I do not do buisness with local distributors. I alwaz get whatever little I have to imported direct. I was just stating a case in example. The dealer was probably not lying. Ppl. here just dont know BS. It was a frustrating moment and i was sharing an incident.
