Hey guys, I apologize if this is in the wrong section..
I have been recording a song in Sonar, now I'm trying to lay down some midi piano, but it's a little flat to the audio I recorded earlier.
I know there is a way to fine tune midi, but I'm not sure how to do this with this keyboard, any help greatly appreicated.
Thanks!

The E-MU Xboard is just a real time MIDI keyboard controller. Any latency or timing problem is much more likely related to the MIDI sound source (VST instrument?) and/or how you you have Sonar setup and confgured.

If you are using the Microsoft wave table for a MIDI sound source, that is your problem. The MS wavetable is just not up to the task as a stable MIDI source for most people.

I think what he REALLY means is that his audio is a little sharp compared to his MIDI piano. Which means you must've either used a screwy tuner or none at all on the instruments.
Sorry, I don't know much about MIDI (or Sonar actually), but there is probably somewhere where you can transpose your midi up a cent or two. Or when you convert the MIDI to an audio track, you could try pitch shifting it up to match the instruments.

You can pitch correct the entire audio track your MIDI source is output to( convert to audio 1st by using either Export or Bounce to Tracks command).... Process-Audio Effects-Cakewalk-Time/Pitch Stretch. Select a small portion of the audio track you've created from your MIDI source, and use this effect, experimenting with different % values until you find what you want, then select the entire clip and run the Process. Hint: type in the pitch shift value rather than trying to drag the cursor on the graph, much more accurate.

Guys thanks for the responses..
emu I am using an xboard , and I know that there is a specific channel or command or something that I can enter into the keyboard that will let me control the fine pitch with the modulation wheel.
Although I'm not sure what channel it is and how to enter it on the board.
Thanks for the suggestion guys.
