Aight I'm a hip hop artist and I'm havin trouble with recording when i record i turn the volume the instrumental down and record so every thing sounds good and the volumes not in the red..BUT my vocals dont stand out at all i want them ta stand out and there still gettin drowned out by the beat.. the mic use is a m-audio nova,the mixer is a lto amx 100 10-channel mixer with phantom power and i use acoustica mixcraft to record on..if any one can help me it would be aprechiated holla!

Oh yes, the vocals becoming drowned out by the instrumental. It's a mixing thing, which cant really be pinpointed to one particular issue, and will only be resolved by experience, and experimentation. Read, experiment, and learn...
