Just curious how many of you would like to see quick 'bouncing' (exporting) of projects out of Pro Tools instead of their only option of 'Real Time' bouncing?
Every DAW that I have seen on the market bounces mixes out much faster than 'real time'. Of course if it is loaded up with plugins that can slow most DAW's down but common if I have a 20 minute 3 track voice over project with minimal or no effects it takes 20 minutes in Pro Tools to bounce and probably a minute and a half with most all other DAW's.
I would love to know who else out there would like to see Pro Tools add the option of 'Real Time' or 'Fast' bouncing.

Yes I can understand that but PT LE is not TDM. And, since they own M-Audio - they could come out with this option and it would be acceptable. In addition to that PT's use to have a DAE before version 5.0. Yes they implimented real time plug ins but so have all the other DAW's.

It's apparently not going to happen. I spoke to someone from Digi at AES a couple years ago... something about how the TDM architecture woudn't allow it... I don't know. I could be wrong, but that's what the Digi rep told me.
