ok guys so here is what happened.

I started out using Adobe Audition 1.5 and i got really good at it, my work was really sounding official although i always kept on hearing about Pro Tools and how great it is for Recording, so i bought it, now I'm using it and i have no idea what the hell I'm doing lol no I'm j/k like i know how to do all the basic stuff but the thing is that i had a whole bunch of effects on Adobe Audition that i loved using and I dont have it in Pro Tools so now I'm a lil ticked off cuz my Pro Tools has gay butt plugs...i mean plugins, so here is my question. is there a way that i can re-wire adobe audition to pro tools or take the plugin or w/e from audition and put it in to Pro Tools. i hope theres a way. .

Thank You In Advance to who ever helps me out

To do what you are asking to do isn't really the right way to look at it. If you want to use all the things from adobe audition, just use adobe audition.

Pro Tools is a completely different program having it's own set of plug-ins as well as having plug-ins that may other companies make. It likely has an equivalent for everything you use, but you would probably have to shell out some cash to match what you currently use.

If you want to use Pro Tools, you are better off finding good plug-ins for it rather than trying to tie in your adobe ones. If Pro Tools doesn't offer anything new that you need, then keep using Adobe.

Simple as that.

That's the right atitude. There are lots of programs out there these days that are built for instant gratification. But you don't really learn a lot from using them.

It may take a while to learn how it all works and get used to using a different system, but you'll gain a lot more knowledge by doing it.

Different multitrack software is like the difference between men and women. They are the same but different. The most important thing is to find a program that speaks to you. Not in the literal sense of course but something that is intuitive and comfortable for you. Not just something for a Saturday night and Not because it has the word "Pro" in it. Many people purchase ProTools (now this is getting too kinky) because of that. Either way, it's good to learn as many software's as you can. It'll only make you better and better is better.
