It's a very nice pre. Very "big" and open. It's a shade dark and full of transparent.

You can't go wrong with it in the slightest. Other similar pres to consider:

I've used one a few times. I'm not a fan at all. It seemed to me to be like a finalizer with a plain and decent mic pre. It got some buzz when it first came out, but I can't remember ever hearing anyone gloating over owing one.
