I'm about to buy a mac laptop.
Is it possible to use a PreSonus firepod as the main audio interface with Pro Tools software? I realize I won't get the onbaord DSP (TDM) that Pro Tools hardware would provide, but could I still use the firepod as my main audio IO and use only RTAS plugins?

I have a Firepod and tried using PT and so far it does not work.
