This was unveiled at the AES in New York.

I was a BETA tester.

It is a very nice piece of software and the company has done things right. You can download a demo and I would be interested in hearing from you after you have had a chance to try it.

For $350 it is a STEAL. The filters are all very user friendly and the denoiser and hum eliminator are worth the total price of the software but the real AMAZING part is the frequency space editor. It also does declipping very very well. It is something that every mastering engineer should have (especially with today's music levels). They are going to have these available as plugins in early 2008.

WOW!

That looks good. I'm interested But I don't understand .. what is the advanced for $1100? What version did you use, and did it include all the plugs...... seemed like about 6 of them.... seperate plugs or stand alone program? If there are better restoration plugs.. I'm down for it.

Color me interested!

Does the spectral editor work on a similar principal to the Magix/Sequoia/Algo, (where you remove a noise and it fills back in) or more like Audition (where you remove a noise and the sound just ain't there anymore)?

I'll download the trial and see.

I'm also quite curious about the differences between the 2 versions.

Well...that was a short lived demo.

Unless they figure out how to keep 2 of my machines from crashing, I don't think I'm interested.

I installed it on my laptop and when it opened, my whole machine froze and then shut down.

When I installed it on my audio workstation, the program acted like it would open then immediately gave me the standard Windows error telling me that it had to be shut down and wanted to send an error log.

So far, batting 0.

On my Windows PC running XP pro at 3 gigs all the latest updates, 2 gigs of memory, ESATA drives, Nvidia card, 550 watt power supply.

No problems at all

Never tried the Mac

It is designed for Windows XP and not for Windows 2000.

Nice program and great interface. Take some time to play with all the goodies.

Cucco sorry you had problems please let me know what you find is the problem. It should not crash your machine.

Don't know about the differences.

The spectral editor is similar to the Magix/Sequoia/Algo where it fills in the space where the noise was. Very nice and very customizable including the keyboard shortcuts.

What OS are you running and what other programs are running in the back ground?

No one else seems to be having problems with the demo and lots of people are trying it.

Oh and for oct, the price is $199 for the non-advanced option. Just bought it, based on the few minutes playing around with it.

You won't be sorry :P
