Hi guys,
I am looking at getting some microphones to complement our AKG, Shure, Beyer Dynamic and Audio-Technica equipment. Definately going to buy a pair of Neumann TLM 103, but have also noticed the SE Electronics Microphones.
Has anyone had any experiences, good or bad, with the Neuamnn Mic mentioned and has anyone used SE Electronic Microphones?
They will be used for a wide range of applications, mainly Brass Band Recordings, but also Rock and Easy Listening recordings.
Like I said earlier I am looking to compliment my AKG414's and my various other mics, so any other suggestions. But please no Stereo RODE mic as it doesn't cut the mustard for me and I don't need it because of my 2 x 414's.

I just got a z5600 a recently and I love it. It's a little clean for most of the projects I'm working on right now, but it takes EQ and effects very well. It's a great mic and you should be able to pick one up relatively cheaply. And it sounds great on brass (trumpet/trombone)
